Residents at two heartland neighbourhoods are bracing for higher prices at their local coffeeshops. This comes as two such eating places in Yishun and Tampines recently sold for record highs of at least S$40 million each. Tenants fear the new owners will raise the rent further, forcing them to pass on the higher costs to customers.
