A Hong Kong man who collected spent tear gas rounds fired by police during 2019’s anti-government protests has been convicted of unlicensed possession of ammunition after a magistrate rejected his testimony that he simply used the objects for decoration.Chow Man, who works as a reporter for the online news outlet Media of Hong Kong Students, was found to be in possession of 38 spent tear gas submunitions, an empty cartridge from a rubber bullet and the inert projectile from a so-called sponge….
