Following the Indian Army's successful "Operation Sindoor" against terrorist bases in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Pakistan, Bollywood celebrities have been expressing their support and gratitude towards the Indian Armed Forces. Among them, Ananya Panday has publicly thanked the forces for their protection, while Ishaan Khatter has offered prayers for de-escalation in the region.

Ananya Panday took to social media to express her gratitude to the Indian Armed Forces. While the specific details of her message aren't available, her gesture aligns with the outpouring of support from citizens and celebrities alike, who are lauding the bravery and efforts of the armed forces.

Ishaan Khatter, on the other hand, has offered prayers for de-escalation. In light of recent events, including the Pahalgam terror attack and the subsequent "Operation Sindoor," Khatter's call for de-escalation reflects a desire for peace and stability in the region.

The response from Bollywood comes after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which resulted in the loss of 26 lives. In response, the Indian Army launched "Operation Sindoor," targeting terrorist hubs in Pakistan and PoK. The operation's name is a symbolic homage to the women widowed by the attack. The military briefing about the operation was led by Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Colonel Sophia Qureshi.

Many other Bollywood figures have also voiced their support. Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar shared messages of support, with Rajinikanth stating, "The fighter's fight begins... No stopping until the mission is accomplished! The entire NATION is with you,” and Akshay Kumar posting "Jai Hind, Jai Mahakal". Alia Bhatt also expressed her support for the Indian Armed Forces, posting "I salute our armed forces today and every day. Jai Hind". Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh also shared their appreciation.

The expressions of support from Bollywood celebrities highlight the role that cultural icons play in national moments. Their voices contribute to the collective spirit of a nation standing behind its armed forces. However, it's also important to note that amidst the support, there are calls for peace and de-escalation, highlighting the complex sentiments surrounding the situation.

The situation remains tense, with international bodies like the UNSC calling for dialogue and restraint. While India has stated that its actions were a measured response to the terror attack, the hope for de-escalation remains a key concern for many.
