Singapore has announced a S$1.5 billion package to help vulnerable groups and businesses fight rising inflation and higher energy prices. Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said that last year's better-than-expected fiscal performance will help fund the package. There will be no further draw on past reserves.
