Electric vehicle industry players in Singapore are piloting a single payment method for charging services. It's hoped that the backend technology used for this won't just solve an inconvenience, but unify what's been a divergent industry and pave the way for more to opt for greener cars. The new method can be used at at least 160 charging points run by five providers. It's linked to an e-wallet, which drivers can top up using GIRO.
